I’m excited to share the sixth excerpt from Mary Morgan’s book, To Weave a Highland Tapestry (A Tale from the Order of the Dragon Knights). At the end of the post, you will see where to next Monday to find out what happens next.
Patrick MacFhearguis, hardened by battles won and lost, desires what he can never have—peace within his heart and soul. Yet, the ever-meddling Fae weave a new journey for him to conquer—a task this highlander is determined to resist.
When skilled weaver, Gwen Hywel, is commissioned to create a tapestry for the MacFhearguis clan, she embraces the assignment. While seeking out ideas, she finds herself clutching the one thread that can alter the tapestry of her life and heart.

Words he longed to profess to Gwen froze on his tongue.
She nudged him forward. “Let’s go join the others. I believe Alastair has been waving us over since we entered.”
Swallowing, he nodded.
Rising from his chair, Alastair motioned for them to take the two seats across from him and Fiona.Follow along next week on Sherry’s blog here: https://sherryewing.com/blog/
